In this message, Pastor Marco wraps up our series on the Beatitudes. Jesus says His followers are blessed when they are persecuted – that is, hated, mocked, beaten, imprisoned, or killed for their righteousness. Paul also tells Timothy that all who desire to live a godly life will be persecuted. Following Jesus does not promise a life of ease and comfort. Rather, the opposite is true. We are called to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Him.
